Beatrice Perrucci Obituary

The funeral is Tuesday, Aug. at the Rossi Funeral Home, 1937 Westfield Ave., Scotch Plains. at St. Bartholomew the Apostle Church, 2032 Westfield Ave., Scotch Plains. Visitation is on Monday, Aug. at the funeral home. She settled in Scotch Plains in 1948, when she married into the town's tightly knit Italian American Montazzoli community. She won many friends with her quiet, gracious ways, mastering Italian specialties such as pizzelles, pasta, and homemade tomato sauce and maintaining traditions that centered on family, food, and faith. She lived a selfless life for her family. Beatrice and her husband, Thomas (TLP), participated in many community events held at the Italian American Club and St. Nike Air Max 2017 Mens Bartholomew's. Her grandchildren called her Giddy, because she laughed a lot, even though she cheated at Parcheesi. When she wasn't operating Nike Air Max 2017 TLP Painting with her husband, she Nike Air Max 2017 Mens enjoyed traveling to Bermuda, St. Bea also liked to dine out, if she could order shrimp. She read the daily newspaper cover to cover, and beat the contestants on "Wheel of Fortune" nearly every time. Like her mother, Elizabeth, she was skilled at needlework, producing many intricate pillows, afghans, and pictures. At the end of Nike Air Max 2017 an inspiring 18 month battle with advanced breast cancer, she was working on her next project. Beatrice was predeceased by her husband of 53 years, Thomas; her brothers, Frank, Eugene, and Edward, and a sister, Dorothy. Beatrice is survived by her children, Dorianne; Thomas and his wife, Jackie; Rachelle and her husband, Rick Hyman; Rosanne and her husband, Gary Pelligrino; Elizabeth and her husband, Gregory Bisson; Caroline and her husband, Gen. Neil Tolley, and John and his wife, Melissa. Her grandchildren will miss their beloved Bea Bea, Tahnde Loureiro and Stephen Perrucci, Kristyn and Ashley Allena and Lindsey Jacks, Matthew and Marisa Pelligrino, Amanda, Tara, Jason and Renee Bisson, and Caleb and Emma Tolley. Bea Bea was the cherished great grandmother of Rick, Kailyn, and Madelyn Loureiro, and Sarah and Abigail Bisson. Family pets, Zuka, Mickey, Mia, Rocky, and Nike, will miss Beatrice dearly.
